Joseph Rajendran is co-Founder and Strategy Director at Tranz Communications with close to three decades of experience in public relations and journalism. He has the unique value proposition of having worked for more than a decade in journalism (Business Times, Nikkei Business, Dow Jones Newswires, Asian Wall Street Journal) and the past 15 years in global public relations consultancies, actively advising clients for media outreach programmes and issues/crisis management.
Stretching over a period of 15 years, he has worked for all the five largest global public relations companies, his last position being the Senior Vice President at one of these firms and managing its Corporate & Finance practice group in Singapore. He built up a portfolio of major corporate brand names as clients over his six year stint at the company. He built a million dollar business by 2009, where none existed in 2005.
Casuarina Peck is co-Founder and Director at Tranz Communications, which was formed in 2005. She has been a journalist for more than a decade in the world of print and online media, as well as close to another decade in public relations as an external PR consultant. She provides counsel for media outreach programmes, editorial communications as well as manages clients. She has developed internal and external communications campaigns for several multinational corporations in Singapore.
In her various roles as a former journalist at Singapore Press Holdings, ComputerWorld Southeast Asia, Internet.com and an Editor at PC Week Asia, she has worked with both the editorial, design and marketing teams to deliver major publications.
